Our previous movie genre that we researched was crime. We created a power point on this genre to show the elements of the movie. Similar to action films crime movies have conflict and high stakes. It also uses low angles and close up shots. Its common sounds are a little bit different because they include handcuffs clicking. But they do share the sound of gunfire. It also uses low key lighting which portrays a sense of danger. It also uses the track and pan camera movement. This genre of film is very similar to the genre of our new movie which is action. I believe that it will have many of the elements of a common crime movie.
